The ability to revert to a previous model, prompt, configuration, or system version when a change causes unacceptable behavior or risk. Rollback should be planned, tested, and accompanied by clear criteria. Rollback paths should be tested before production use because failed rollbacks during incidents can multiply impact and complicate accountability.
