Information provided to deployers so an AI system can be used appropriately. It should address purpose, limitations, required inputs, human oversight, monitoring, and foreseeable misuse. For deployers, instructions for use become operational controls, training content, monitoring criteria, and evidence for whether the AI system was used within approved conditions.
EU AI Act Article 13 requires high-risk AI providers to draw up instructions for use that are concise, complete, correct, clear, relevant, accessible, and comprehensible.
