Google's A2A protocol (announced April 2025) enables Gemini agents to collaborate with third-party agents - a Salesforce agent sends a task to a Google Workspace agent, which returns a structured artifact.
Accenture's enterprise AI hub uses A2A to connect SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow agents, allowing a business-process agent to delegate sub-tasks across ERP, CRM, and ITSM systems without custom middleware.
A healthcare network uses A2A to route clinical-documentation tasks from a scheduling agent to a coding agent to a billing agent - each system exposes an A2A endpoint coordinated by an orchestrator.
